80 years old and angioplasty

What value is an angioplasty in improving life expectancy, in improving quality of life.
I am taking metoprolol 50 mg, nefedipine 50 mg and capitril.  It has placed me almost in a state of hibernation--exhausted, sleepy, cold hands, cold feet, pulse 48 blood pressure 120/70.
I see a cardiologist for the first time this Friday.  What should I ask.  I had a heart attack three years ago.  I know I have blockage, but not enough to warrant major surgery.  They said i could be managed with medication.  Recently they added nefidipine.

Angioplasty is typically done at a certain percentage of blockage.  I don't know what yours is or at what point, but these are excellent questions to ask.  A lot of times just getting used to medications can cause the symptoms you describe, but if it is really interfering with your quality of life, ask what can be done.
