A SISTER'S LOVE
I am seeking help for my 53-year young brother. The doctors here (Lima, Ohio) pretty much said there is nothing more they can do for him. It is so complicated I will not be able to explain his diagnosis professionally. I asked him to give me a brief history and this is what he told me. Please forgive the spelling and the incorrect words used, as I have never heard of a lot of these medical terms.
He is 53 years young, smoked and consumed alcohol for the past 30 years. In 1990, he had an indardirectomy (?) - where they clipped the aorta, inserted plastic and a right carmailiac (?).
In December of 1997, he had a fem fem

Heart bypass surgery - series - plastic left and right fem artery. Bi-passed camelier as they are all gone.
In January of 1998, left femora papateil artery

Heart bypass surgery - series. On week later, the right one was done.
February 15, 2001, he had an

Arterial insufficiency gramGram stain of skin lesion
Gram stain of tissue biopsy. They told him he only has one inch, the size of a pencil led, left in the camiliac. Arthrosceloris-vascular.
His doctor said that he could have another surgery, but would only have a 2% chance of waking up.
Complications sever emphysema (lungs). He has
gangreneGangrene
Necrotizing soft tissue infection in his right toes and they can't remove due to his poor heart and lungs. He is constantly in horrific pain.
100% conclusion in the heart artery 2 out of 3 are gone. Out of the 3 main arteries, right cam? and left? cam are the only ones working, the other 2 are completely
blockedBlocked tear duct. Apparently nothing feeding the lower part of his body.
Family History:
Our father passed away due to myocardial infarction in 1979 at age 54. My other brother had open-heart surgery, 2-bypass a few years ago at age 50.
Again, I apologize for the unclear details, spelling, and verbiage above. I'm a concerned sister that loves her brother and whose own heart is heavy in search of any hope. Please respond no matter what your opinion is.
Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter.
