A-fib while in bradycardia

I am 41 and have a slow pulse rate while in A-fib. I've had this problem for over 15 years (under 15 different specialist) and have had Electrophyology studies, Cardioversions,and more test than I want to talk about. My drug list consist of Norpace-twice 150mg,Lanoxin .25mg,Verapamil 180mg,coumadin .5mg,and aspirin every morning. I have been taking this for three years after my sucessful cardioversion (sucessful meaning daily a-fib but not cronic (chronic)) and the drugs are creating skin problems,weight gain,fatigue,impotence and I'm worred about destroying my internal organs (Kindeys,Liver,etc.) I thought about stoping everthing except the aspirin and the verapamil and start taking potassium and a couple of glasses of wine daily. It may not help but at least I'll be happier;-)

My question is...are there alternative or natural medications I could take to deal with my electrical problem without destroying the perfectly good parts of my body.

Dear Ken,

Sound like you've been through just about everything.  It is important to either control your atrial fibrillation rate or to maintain sinus rhythm to avoid long term complications including the development of a cardiomyopathy.

I am not sure if you would be a candidate for this procedure, but you may consider an ablation for atrial fibrillation.  This catheter based procedure uses hig frequency radiowaves to "burn" tissue in the atrium so that these atrial circuits cannot develope.

Unfortunately as far as other remedies, natural preparations are not helpful in this regard.
