Hi. I have been experiencing aches in my lower back, and down both legs. Both legs also have a cold sensation, all the way down to my toes. My arms also feel this coldness. To the touch, my handsHand or foot spasms Hand tremor feel like they've been out in very cold weather. All of this combined with weaknessWeakness, dizziness, lack of appetite, extreme fatigue and cold sweatsSweat electrolytes test Sweat test Sweating Sweating - absent. I usually run warm and am not affected by slightly lower temperaturesTemperature measurement. My blood pressurePressure ulcer is slightly elevated, actually just within the high normalNormal saline flush range, but the higher the numbers go, the colder my hands seem to get. I am not cold myself, no goosebumps or shivers. Does anyone here have any idea where I should start? I am 42 years old, and other than having had thyroid cancer, my health has been relatively normal. Not excellent, but not poor.
How long has it been since you've seen your Endo? I would start there. It sounds like it could be several things including a spinal problem. You need a good physical exam, and bloodwork, but start with your Endo considering your health history. Your endocrine system may be involved and he/she can determine this, and go from there.
Thanks for your reply. I still tend to not look at the thyroid problem as the cause of other things. I'll be going to see my g.p. soon, and if that doesn't work, I'll contact my endo. I have noticed the aches and cold feeling in my feet and legs gets worse when I am sitting or laying down. So, I am a little concerned about circulation.
Again, thank you for taking the time to respond. :D
