A very strange occurance happened to me, please comment?

OK first of all I need to clear a couple things up... NO this is not a joke, this really did happen to me, and also I was NOT hyperventilating or having a panic attack....

I was watching comedy central and I burst out laughing...I admit I laughed pretty hard, but this was too bizarre for any laughing...within 1-2 seconds I got a huge headrush, felt throbbing pressure in my head, my ears felt like they were under water,  I was totally and completely disoriented and felt like I was completely disconnected from my surroundings.   This lasted about 10 seconds,  then my head started to feel OK again while at the same time my heart began pounding extremely hard and fast,  then after 30 seconds went by I was totally normal again except for a very mild headache which lasted a couple hours.

Medical history:  I have a benign 3.8 centimeter bone lesion of the frontal skull bone, I have known about it for years and it hasn't changed, I just have a headache all the time.   I also experience irregular heart beats from time to time,  and have a problem with chronic lightheadedness (cause unknown) >  I've had an echo and EKG in the past by the way,  MRI of brain as well.

Any thoughts?  Thanks.

This sounds like vasovagal syncope.  The laughter caused you to hold your breath which then caused your heart to slow down giving you the headrush.  This is relatively benign and does not imply anything abnormal with your heart.  I would not be very concerned about this.  If it becomes an issue there are medications and certain maneuvers that help with that.  Seeing an electrophysiologist might help.
