In addition to my previous questions.....is it safe to say that if the
following three tests came back okay, then I don't have any heart problems?
The three tests were: halter monitor, stress test and echocardiogram. Are
my strange rythms caused by stress and anxiety if these tests were all
unremarkable? Or is it possible that nothing was picked up because I wasn't
having an "episode" of dysrythmia? Are there any other tests I should
request just to be on the safe side? (I am also having mild chest pain
which radiates down my left arm.(I have been having this along with the
irregularities for about 2 1/2 months.)
  Thanx for you time..........Jennifer

Dear Jennifer, thank you for your question.  If the tests you mentioned were indeed normal, then you do have a normal heart and further testing is not indicated.  You may still be having occasional premature beats that cause your symptoms - stress and anxiety may exacerbate these premature beats.  However, with a normal heart, premature beats will not harm you, so I suggest that you try to control stress and anxiety and focus your attention on other pursuits.
