ASD

When I was 16 I was told that I had ASD  but they did not do anything about it if you were not having problems. I got dizzy sometimes but as a teenager it did not bother me.

Years later I had a child female born with ASD also.  They now fix the problem when they are around 3yrs old. She is now 14 and very healthy.

My problem is that I become dizzy at times and with change of position and I am very very tired all the time even when I have slept for 10 hours. lately I have been having my heart start racing and my pulse is 100 to 120  this can happen with minimal exertion or wake me up. My b/p usually runs low 104/60 and is faint.   Can the dizzy spells and being so tired be caused by ASD?

Dear Lori

Many of the symptoms you describe could be due to an ASD. You should have this re-evaluated. ASDs can be repaired successfully in adults also.

I hope this has been useful. I wish you the best of luck.
