AST and ALT high taking Zocor/Statin
I have high cholesterol.  I have been taking Zocor (Simvastatin) for approximately 2 years now.  I am a 31 year old who is overall healthy and exercise on a regular basis.  I eat overall healthy too.  I do not use any tobacco products or drink alcohol.  I recently had my blood work taken and my AST level was 162 and my ALT level was 193.  I haven't brought these to my doctor yet.  In the past my levels were also high, but my doctor never seemed to be concerned about it.  Should I be concerned with them being this high.  I am going to bring them to him this week and see what he says.  I want some 2nd opinions on this.  I am worried about this considering they are both 3x the normal limit from the paperwork I have.
