AV node reentrant and WPW

I have been seen by an electrophysologist and am scheduled for an EP study
on February 16th.  What are the chances of one person having the AV node
reentrant and WPW?  When this study is done will this be automatically
checked or should I ask specifics.
Also, I currently take 120mg of calan and .25mg lanoxin.  I THINK I was told
to stop taking the calan on 11th (last dose on 10th) and to take half of
the lanoxin on the 11th and 12th and none on 13th, 14th, 15th and 16th.
Does this sound correct?

P.S.  I have a friend whose mother had the invasive surgery many years ago
for the WPW.  She is now experiencing lots of problems again.  She is in her
60's and now has Parkinson's Disease.  Would she be a candidate for the
EP tudy?
