Hello,
Hopefully this represents a success. It is possible that the ablation lesions were still in healing scar around the reentry circuit. When we do our atrial fibrillation ablation cases, we instruct patients that it is possible to have atrial fibrillation in the first three months as this a time during which scar can heal.
Assuming that you tachycardia was caused by the most common SVT mechanism, reentry, the the likely mechanism is that your doctor injured your pathway enough to either cause long term scarring or to lengthen the recovery time enough to make further reentry unlikely. Hopefully this represents a cure. It is also possible that it is just much more difficult to induce and you will only have rare episodes.
Thanks for posting and happy holidays.
