Abnormal EKG

by Resting, Nov 04, 2009 11:34AM
I am a 46 yo female with no family history of heart disease.  In 2/06 I had an EKG, Echo, 72 hr. monitoring, nuclear stress test and heart cath.  Was told it was anxiety and no follow up needed.  In early 2008 I went back to the same cardiologist because of fluctuation BP, EKG was done.  Was told no meds necessary and follow up made for 6 months later.  That appointment he told me I had vasovagal presyncope due to BP drops.

I just went for another appointment today and he told me my EKG was abnormal.  When I asked him what was wrong he said it suggested a heart attack.  Looking back to the prior EKG, he indicated it was the same back then.  Said that was normal for me and not to worry about it.  The rest of the exam was all normal.

I'm not sure if the EKG I had in 2006 was abnormal in the same way.  Do I need to just trust him on this or insist on more investigation.  Right now I'm not schedule to return for a year.

Thanks for any help!

Cindy

Get rid of this quack, and find a real doctor.  He can't even keep his stories straight.  This is your life don't leave in the hands of this incompetent fool.
