Altace and Dizziness

Wondering if anyone has any ideas on problems. Two months ago I quit smoking. About a month ago I noticed my heart rate was lower than usual and mild irregularity. Usually hovered around 80bpm now lucky to go up to 70bpm. Everyone inc. Doc says this is good and normal due to not smoking. However I weigh 240# and out of shape. I have high blood pressure and doc started me on 5mg Altace,2weeks later upped to 10mg because pressure did not go down. In the past two weeks ive felt out of sorts like im on some sort of narcotic. Can the blood pressure med make you feel high. (lightheaded, dizzy,all around strange feeling)Ive had the following tests done:
Tredmill-Normal
Echo-Normal
UpperGI- Mild GERD
CT-Normal
CT Sinus- Mucouse retention cyst in maxillary sinus
TMJ X-RAY- Normal
Allergy test Normal
Cholesterol- 199
LDL-30
HDL-127
Trglycerides-242
Glucose-112
Should I stop the Altace and see how I feel or what?
