Angina in younger females

Angina in younger females

Are younger females with angina taken more seriously today than they were 15 years ago? If not, are the majority still treated inappropriately for anxiety disorders while their heart condition worsens. I was treated in 1995 for anxiety after presenting with supraventricular tachycardia on 24 hr. holter monitor. No further cardiac workup was done at that time. I was 36 yrs. old and a healthcare worker. I credit daily low dose aspirin for getting me thru many years. My heart rate at times would be 120. When I finally got a cardiology workup in 2008 the echo showed I had moderate mitral valve leakage and less tricuspid valve leakage. Did I mention I had 3 bouts of Group A Strep prior to onset of symptoms 15 years ago? So, I wonder if females are still treated this way by the medical profession.
