I had angioplasy with 2 stents 3 weeks ago..WHile on cath table during procedure I had some serious shoulder pain especially across the upper back if that makes sense, my question is that I seem to get chest pressure, these shoulder pains , arm(left) pain now while setting as opposed to activity..I get relief when I stand and move or when I lay down but am uncomfortable setting.I have noticed a lot of gas buildup and do have irritable bowel and gerd so I'm wondering if the almost exact opposite symtoms of what sent me to the hospital in the first place is anything to worry about, or is it a good thing as Martha Stewart would say?

Dear Saxa,
If this pain is similar to the cath pain, then i would report this to your MD.
