Angina or indigestion

My Mother, 73 years of age, seems to have angina attacks, or possibly indigestion.
I am concerned that she always takes a Nitro before trying an antacid. If her attacks are indigestion, could the Nitro hurt her. The Nitro is a prescription from her heart doctor. Thank you for your input.
