Hi
My name is Les. I am 51 years old and I had massive hart attack five years
ago.
My heart was damaged in over 30%. My state was described as OK.
Generally I didn't have any problem during these five years. I am of course
on medication (  apotenol, altace, entrophen, and lescol)
My recent thallium test didn't show any new blockage.(July this year)
At the beginning of this year I started to have strange pains they
originate or in my stomach or my chest. I didn't have job at this time and
of course it crated some kind of stress.
They are not connected directly with any activity.
Generally I am in relatively good physical condition I can rollerblade or
ride bike for couple of hours or hike in rough terrain for fours without
problem.  Even today I walked over three miles without any problem ( brisk
walk for half an hour). But some time I walk 40 or 50 yards and I feel pain
usually  in top of my stomach or my chest had these episode even when
watching some stupid but irritating movie. But I can drive in creazy
traffic in the down town with all my concentration on without any problem.
It looks as it is connected to some kind of state of emotion.  For example
I can feel my stomach muscles tense when I walk an it cause pain. When I
have asked my doctors both family and cardiologist they can't tell me what
is it. It is so frustrating one day I can move mountains and another time I
have problem with simple walk.
I forgot to say that when pain occur during walking it stops at one when I
stop in seconds without any medication.  I the excitement state it stops
after short calm down. I passed through all basic medical checkup no ulcer
no other stomach disease. No new blockage. Some time ago one of my friend
doctor suggested that maybe I have stomach hernia. (I had strange sharp
pain even before my hear attack sharp pains around my upper torso.( top of
stomach).
Now I don't have these.
As I started new job one month ago my symptoms seems to slightly subside
but it so difficult to say that now for example I do not heave any pain
lately when walking..

Sorry for length of my message but I try to explain myself clearly.
Yours Les Kozlowski Toronto
