So he had a quad bypass? The left artery is blocked in the middle section but I think the LIMA artery was grafted in the bypass surgery to get around this problem and is still working fine.
The three grafted veins have closed up. What are your Uncles symptoms now?
If he has bad symptoms, I would ask your Doctor to send your Uncles Angio images to a training/research hospital to see what they can offer in stenting those problems. Experience/confidence varies greatly between hospitals, so don't get down hearted over it. One hospital tells you something is impossible, whereas another hospital will tell you that something can be done. If you are unhappy with answers, always seek other opinions.
