Antenolol

I have, over the past week, developed an atthythmia.
I went to the doc- and he said it may be directly affected by my Graves Disease, which I treat with synthroid.

He put me on Antenolol.

How long will this take to begin working?

It should kick in within 12 hours after your first pill.

Fatigue can be a side effect of beta blockers.  Some people get used to it, some don't.  If you are feeling ill though, you should probably contact your doctor's office to see if it may be related to the Atenolol.  It probably isn't, but its better safe than sorry with a new medication.

Your dosage may need adjusted if the PVCs are coming and going like that.  It usually takes some tweaking.  I hope it works for you.

Hmmm.... well the PVC's were barely here all day. took pill at 7PM last night. So I guess it worked.

Now they are back with a vengence and I am feeling sick and tired on top of all that.

Got me wondering about atenolol.....I have been taking 50mg/day for 4 years and am really fatigued. I am 54, have CAD and am a mi survivor. Does everyone that takes atenolol or other beta blockers feel lot's of fatigue?
