Anyone using Tikosyn (dofetilide)??

In a week I am supposed to be hospitalized for 3 nights and monitored at the start of my Tikosyn therapy.  Would like to hear from those who have taken this drug, as well as Betapace (sotolol).  Thanks

I was just released from the hospital last week after Tikosyn monitoring.  It has not proven sucessful for me and I am experiencing arrythmias about every other day.  I have another  appointment with the doctor next week.  I have been advised to remain on the Tikosyn despite it's ineffectiveness until further options are discussed.  

I have also tried Fleconide and Rhythmol with no results.  I had an ablation last February and am told that a second ablation is not uncommon.  I live in the Houston area famous for its heart specialists.  

You may have learned that atrial fibrillation is a condition that does not lend itself to easy cures in all people although for some it does.  There's no reason to it that I'm aware of.
