I was told awhile back that I have an ascending aorta root aneurysm and it scared me to death,
it is 3 centimeters now and will be checked again in January.
as for the medication, my advice would be check with your doctor which suits you best because they all have side effects and one may be good for someone else and may work fine for them but it may not for you.
Ask your doctor and even get a second opinion if it will help
yes, some medications are better than others but your doctor would be able to tell you which one is better suitable for you to take. If you have been on Topral and it is not making a big difference then switching to Losartan may be an option for you.
did your doctor suggest surgery to you to repair it?
I had my other test the other day for the recheck and they injected the dye into my arm and now waiting for the results of the test to see if it is bigger or has stayed the same size,I feel that knowing I have an ascending aortic root aneurysm, I am always nervous and worried about it and feel like a walking time bomb. that may or may not go off at any minute./
