My husband got his gall bladder out at noon Tuesday. The surgery took about an hour and a half. The gall bladder itself wasn't in to bad a shape and Dr. Irons said his liver looked great, but, he has an Aneurysm in the aorta right above where the gall bladder was, we knew this for a while, but it isn't big enough to be worried about. Dr. Irons said there is something behind his pancreas pushing against it. He thinks it might be another aneurysm in the aorta behind the pancreas. They took pictures of it and are sending them to Dr. Elison in Columbus, the pancreas specialist that they sent him to before.
He came home from the hospital yesterday at 8am and has felt real good. He was not sick to his stomach this morning either. Maybe the pancreas was
enlargedEnlarged adenoids
Enlarged prostate from the bad gall bladder and now that it is gone he will be ok. Thats what we are praying for. None the less, Dr. Irons is sending the pictures he took to the pancreas specialist in Columbus, so they will check it out.
My question is, should my husband see a Cardiologist too? I know that
aorticAbdominal aortic aneurysm
Aortic aneurysm
Aortic angiography
Aortic arch syndrome
Aortic dissection
Aortic insufficiency
Aortic rupture, chest x-ray
Aortic stenosis
Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy
Thoracic aortic aneurysm has something to do with the heart. If not a cardiologist, then what type of doctor should my husband be seeing? We have insurance that will let us go to the Cleveland Clinic, so can you recommend someone for us?
Thank you and God bless you for all you do for people like us.
