Aortic Valve

by Ishita, Sep 14, 2007 03:37PM
My Mom needs to have her aortic valve replaced due to resurgitation. She is 60, in good health and with not many symptons. Could anyone recommend an experienced Doctor for this who has the lowest mortality rate. We are very tense and want her to have the best treatment.

There are many good doctors throughout this nation.  There are excellent surgeons in the Houston, Cleveland, New York, etc.  Even though we are not suppose to recommend other sites to people, I am going to refer you to: www.valvereplacement.com.  In this site, you will find an abundance of information dealing with heart valve operations.  Check it out & get informed!  Good luck to you!
