Aortic Valvular Insuffiency

by sheltielover41, Feb 01, 2008 02:12PM
Please read my profile to understand why I am asking the following questions.  I would like to know is there any particular antihypertensive used to slow down the progression of aortic insuffiency?  I have been presribed Lisinopril 40 mg daily along with Norvasc 2.5 mg daily. I want to know if I am being prescribed the right antihypertensives for my condition. Am I at risk for developing blood clots & heart arrhythmias?  Should I be taking a baby ASA or enteric coated ASA daily?  What kind of excerise should I do considering I have been pretty sedintary the last couple of years.  Any advise or answers to my questions would be greatly appreciated.
