Aortic leak

In 1990 I had gone echocardiogram test and the Cardiologist told me that there is mild leak (1/4) in one of my valve
but he still do not suggest me to go for operation as the time to opt for operation has not come right now. He has prescribed me medicine and I am still taking those medicine and have no problem at all as is heard in others cases.

Even if I am required to go for operation I need that once the operation is done I need not go for re-replacement of valve after certain years.
So is there any new invention in this area so that a person need not go for changing the old valve again and again.?
if yes than what is the new technology called. What would be the cost for first replacement in India.

Thanks
