Are all cardiomyopathy patients terminal?

Is it appropriate to refer to all cardiomyopathy patients who have experienced CHF as terminally ill?  Some people refer to this condition as eventually progressing to death, no matter what the response is to medications.  Doesn't the phrase "terminally ill" refer to visible end-stage deterioration, or am I in denial about my life expectancy as a CM & CHF patient?  (I am 38 yrs. old and have ejection fraction in upper 40's after 10 months of medication.)
