51 year old male diagonosed with WPW November 28, 2016. Went to ER with chest pains and racing heart.. Heart rate was all over the place, but when rate hit max of 310 beats per minute, doc 'shocked' heart back in rhythm. Few days later, I was transferred to Emory and received ablation procedure. All went well, and felt v(feel) really pretty good. Day after procedures, I experienced a 'golden halo' effect (difficult to describe) in my left eye lasting, only about 5 minutes. Thought little of it. Tonight, 12-5, same happened in my right eye, again only lasting about 5 minutes. Never experienced this type of issue in my life I can recall. No other symptons other than minor chest pains I attibue to being shocked and having the procedure a few days ago. I called the Emory hotline, but well after hours. Is this something I should consider as urgent, or could I wait until tomorrow to call? I really don't want to wake my wife to return me to ER, but also don't her to find me in serious distress during the night. Anybody out there on call this evening who could offer medical opinion tonight? Appreciate your consideration.
