Arrhythmia and Vitamins

by Wiliam, Feb 18, 1999 12:00AM

I am being tested for a hollow quivering feeling in my chest often accompanied by brief light-headedness and/or adrenaline rushes. My question is this: I hear references made to Dr. Rankin's vitamin therapy for arrhythmia but I never hear what it is or where I can learn more. It evidently contains minerals found to be lacking in the heart tissue of some arrhythmia patients (like magnesium and potassium). Is this an accepted treatment or an herbalist's remedy?
  Thank you.
p.s.  I posted this once before but it seems that someone missed all the questions posted on the 16th.  Thanks again.

Dear William
This is not an accepted therapy. I would not recommend it.
I hope this has been useful. I wish you the best of luck. Feel free to write back.
