Ascending Aorta 3.5 relates to heart murmur

I'm 53 years young and I have always been extremely healthy. Meaning no diseases, taking no prescribed medications etc. Now, all of a sudden my primary physician this year informs me that I have a heart murmur, Then I go for a routine breast MRI to check for breast cancer? No cancer (thank God), but I do have a enlarged dilatation of the ascending aorta to 3.5cm and advised to see a cardiologist. What can I expect? I do regular gym work outs, weights & cardio 2-3 times per week and "hot" vinyasa & pilates 5 times per week. my blood pressure is consistent and on the low side. I eat healthy and am 5'5 125lbs. I have always worked full time and live actively. I don't smoke or drink excessively. Maybe 1-2 glasses of wine with friends. I'm just surprised, please any advise would be appreciated.

If and when the ascending aorta increases to the size of 4.0 cm, the condition would be medically referred to as an aneursym.  When an aneursym increases to the size of 5.0 cm or increases in size at a rate greater than 0.05 cm a year there begins to be a concern of a rupture and intervention may be the option.

When there is an aneursym of the aorta, high blood pressure needs to be controlled and heavy lifting of weights is not advised.  My references do not indicate a 3.5 cm is an enlarged aorta, but if there is a prior reference of a smaller than normal aorta, then there may be a finding of an enlarged aorta!?
