Atenolol and multi mineral supplements

Within 3 days of starting on 25mg Atenolol a day my BP came down to normal, staying this way for 4 weeks.
Over the next week, it began to climb back up to 150/91. I take the Atenolol at night along with 2000mg Vit C and a multi-mineral supplement - which I have been on for years. I am wondering if there might be any correlation or interaction in taking the medication along with these supplements.
