Atrial Fibrilation, The best cure for a debilitating chronic condition

I suffered with atril fibrilation for years. After many emergancy room visits and enough different medications with nothing working very well. I finally met Dr. Rodrigo Chan of the Minnesota Heart Clinic. He suggested a full AV node ablation and implantation of a pacetter Trilogy pacemaker.
I went to two other cardiologists at the University of Minnesota. They did not support this extensive treatment. They wanted to increase my dose of amioderone. However, Dr Chan was sure that this would be the thing for me.
That was almost 4 years ago. I thank God everyday for Dr. Chan and my pacemaker. I have had zero symptoms. As well as my entire health has improved. I went from an almost completely disabled person to an active health 51 year old. Last month I spent an entire week hiking around Disneyworld in 100 deg heat and kept of with two 15 year old girls.
How come I do not hear more about this extraordinary treatment??

We perform the treatment commonly at the Cleveland Clinic. However, we reserve its use for patients that do not tolerate medication, as the procedure has risks and it does make the patient completely dependent on a pacemaker.
