Atrial Septal Aneurysm

by elsinann, Aug 10, 2007 11:42PM
Seven years ago I had a 59 cm. Dacron tube used to replace my aorta. So far, so good! I lost my spleen, have one kidney left and can inspire only 1000 cms of air. Again, so far, so good. However, what on earth is an atrial septal aneurysm? One aneurysm---fusiform---was enough...
I also have three leaking valves and a 50 ef (a year ago, anyway.) I'm so tired I could plotz.

Does anyone out there also have an atrial septal aneurysm? My doctor said only to keep my b/p down. It is, about 78/58 or the like.

Is there more I should do than just keep the b/p down?

Thank you!
