BI-ICD

BI-ICD

Hi, in 1999 I had an acute MI and also developed CHF.  At that time my EF was 42%.  Since then it has steadily declined.  Currently it is at 15%.  I have an ICD that was implanted in July of 2003.  Lately I have been very tired and just can't seem to get any engery and can;t seem to get rid of all the fluid.  My Dr. has suggested that I should have my ICD upgraded to BI-ICD. Can you tell me exactly what the qualifications would be for that and would it help.  I am on numerous medications and the list keeps growing.  Also, my family DR wants me to be evaluated to see if I qualify to be placed on a heart transplant list.
