Typically my BP is 129-132 over 72-78. I know the diastolic is in the acceptable range, but what about the systolic? Is 130 too high? I know it's not great. Does this justify meds? I am VERY athletic and I actually to do my best to eliminate extra sodium and am well aware of high sodium foods such as soups, pizza, etc. I eat those most definitely, but not on the regular. My father's side has a history of hypertension. I am 38, and in otherwise good health.
