Have any of you with "benign" heart palpitations, ever had your cardiologist do or suggest a COMPLETE blood panel on your thyroid.  And i do mean complete TSH, t3's t4's, anitibodies, all of it?

were all of your thyroid tests "normal"?

I ask because, I have normal thryoid tests, all of them except for a slightly lower t3 uptake.  And this has been for years, but I finally convinced a Doctor to do a thyroid ultrasound, and lo and behold, I have a multi-nodular thyroid gland.  Also, the thyroid being felt and heart palpitations both started in 2004.
So, I am just wondering if anyone else out there has experienced the same thing.

Oh, and most important my cardiologist has checked me out on tread, ultrasound, and holtir monitor, but never once checked my thyroid.
