Benign heart murmur acting up

  I have been told I have a benign heart murmur which every once in awhile I experience, may be once a week. However, for the past three days I have felt it off and on in sometimes long runs lasting the entire day. Is this something I should be concerned about?

Thank you for your question.  It is unusual for someone to be able to feel a heart murmur and I would suspect that you are feeling something else.  What type of symptoms do you have?
