Benign irregular heartbeat

I have been dianosiged with a benign irregular heartbeat back in 2006, I was taking medicine for this, however I became pregant and stopped taking the medicine(don't even remember the name of medicine).  My question, sometimes my irregular heartbeat bothers me more a week before my period and a week after my period.  Is there any connection between irregular heartbeat and hormones?

Yes there can be a connection between the two. If you are now symptomatic from the irregular heart rate then you should resume taking that medication. Speak to your doctor, I am sure that he has kept records on what this medication is.
