Beta Blockers and Salt Substitute

Anybody in here on beta blockers have any experience with a salt substitute? I'm wondering if you can or can not use something like Lo Salt that has potassium chloride in it along with beta blockers, and if so how much is recommended. I'm looking to substitute lo salt for some other high in potassium foods in order to cut down on my sugar content.

So if you're on a diuretic wouldn't that mean you're at risk for low potassium and need more potassium in your diet? Just a little confused at the moment since I'm hearing all sort of things.

I'd ask your question to a dietician or pharmacist.  I'm taking beta blockers as well as Lasix and Potassium levels must be monitored carefully.  I'm warned not to take salt substitutes, but your situation may be quite different.
