Blood Clot

Over the weekend I had sharp chest pain under my left breast that was worsened when taking a deep breath and letting it out. The pain lasted for a few hours and then completely subsided. Then yesterday I had what I thought might be a hot flash or anxiety attach where for about 15 minutes my pulse was very rapid and and then returned to normal. Could this be caused by a blood clot in my lung.
