Blood Pressure and Alcohol

I have been reading all of the online articles that I can about blood pressure and alcohol, but I have a few questions that I cannot answer.  (Or, I cannot understand the answers provided in the articles.)

Here is the situation:

I have to take a physical either at the end of this week, or early next week and my blood pressure cannot be too high.  I do not actually have high blood pressure, but sometimes my anxiety can drive it up so I need it to be as low as possible so that I don't worry myself into having high blood pressure at this physical.

My blood pressure readings vary, but none of them are high.  For example, on my Dad's home sphygmomanometer (which gives me the highest readings) it tends to be average about 127/79.  At my doctor's office they always check BP before every appointment and those readings tend to be around 120/70, or sometimes as low as 110/60.  Anyway, I am supposed to go out to a friend's bachelor party tonight where there will be drinking involved and I want to know if one night of binge drinking (probably 7 drinks, or so) is going to raise my BP for the entire week.  I know that drinking in moderation is supposed to be fine and that you are not supposed to exceed two drinks a day.  However, I have not drank alcohol in about 4-5 months now and I want to make sure that one night of drinking is not going to put my numbers way off for the entire week.  I also know that binge drinking, in general, is obviously not very healthy.  I am just asking for its specific effects on BP in my case.  Any advice is appreciated.  Also, if anyone has any ideas on how to reduce anxiety before taking a BP exam that would be helpful as well (or any magic foods that temporarily lower BP - that would be great as well).

Thank you for all your time and help, it is greatly appreciated.

One night of binge drinking isn't going to raise your BP, especially 7 days later.  There really isn't anything safe food wise that would lower you blood pressure.
