Blood Pressure and blurry vision

I am 41 yr old female with HBP.  Over the past 2 weeks the BP has been extremely high.  The worst reading was 200/115.  I have been having headaches and feels like a fluttering in my eyes.  Also, vision is a little blurry.  Does this sound like it is connected?

My blood pressure went up because I went on vacation and stopped the 30 min. walks and stopped drinking my 3 cups hibiscus tea.  My vision soon became blurry and I suspected  something wrong with blood pressure.  I got home and it was 157/105 and I went to the dr. and she gave me meds, but I am convinced if I had not slacked off on hibiscus tea and exercise, this wouldn't have happened.  I recommend this to anyone with slightly elevated BP.  It had brought mine to 120/76, which is not dangerous.

My husband recently began having HBP.  He only found out due to his eyes.  He was having blurry halo like vision and went to the eye dr.  His Dr. has a new machine that takes an actual photo of the retina and both my husbands eyes have peripheral hemorrhaging of the retinas from high blood pressure.  The Dr. said once the HBP was controlled the eyes should get better.  His BP went to 220/110 during a stress test. That was only after being on tredmill for six minutes.  His BP seems to be rising extremely high only during exercise.  The Cardiologist found this out by putting him on a 24 hour BP machine.

Good Luck, Hope this helped
