Blood Pressure

by Diane, Dec 23, 1999 12:00AM
A while ago a friend of mine had a problem with her blood pressure.  Facts: She is severely obese, had high stress, and had just been injured on the job.  When they took her blood pressure she had a major difference between her two arms.  Example: right 216/110, left 98/64 or vice-versa.  Normal blood pressure was about 130/84.  What happened?

Thanks so much.

There can be blockages in one arm that causes a lower pressure on that side.
