thusly Barbarella, he needs to confer with his PARENTS about his concern as a doctor cannot treat a MINOR without a parent or guardian present. At least not in the US.
What does your doctor say about your BP? Anxiety can drive BP up in "some" people. Worrying about your BP can make it shoot up. I've been through these exercises, I'm one of the "some" people whose BP is effected by anxiety, stress, suspense, and worry. Suspense is the worst for my BP. A doctor will know what to do with you and your BP at your age.
I would suppose Michael that you should discuss these concerns with your parents. My daughter is on BP medication (Diovan). I would be very annoyed at anyone giving her advice that went beyond telling her to check with me. Sorry buddy...
i would say my average during the day is like 130 ish (im not worried about my diastolic its always below 80 for the most part)
my BPM are normal like 70 ish
ok so im 17 im in perfect shape i work out everyday play bball i was a boxer for a while and i eat extremely healthy for the most part (no caffine) and i have bad anxiety i take ativan for it and i can be stressed sometimes, i have PACS but very benign and i had tons of test done on my heart, my BP is often reading 140/60 to 70 and that top numbers high, it takes me tons of time to relax and get it down to 120/55 but it worries me that my top number gets up there like that at this age,
am i in danger of hardening of the arteries when im older? my heart is healthy though
( my BP should be very low when i sleep so is it only dangerous if BP is high 24/7 or can it be bad if its 140/70 when im awake and worried)
