Blood pressure

I am 18, and my systolic blood pressure is 155 and diastolic 55 and my heart beat is 59, so am I sick or something, I have little dizzynes sometimes and my vision blanks when I stand up...

This is more common than uncommon in young men, i get the same readings. You have a resting heart rate of 59 so you obviously have a large stroke volume (your heart pumps hard) The isolated systolic hypertension may be due to a phenomenon where a pressure wave from the elasticity of the arteries in your arms causes high readings whereas the blood pressure in your aorta is probably normal. However 55 is a low diastolic however i have had diastolics of 48 lol with no dizziness. But if youre experience dizziness you should see your doctor. The fact that youre worried about this at 18 indicates some anxiety which is probably the cause.
