After posting my question I had a few more thoughts:
For the last 2 years or so, I've also had bouts about 1-2 times per month of such exhaustion that I can't do anything buy lay around all day. My body feels like it's been run over -- I feel heavy, my arms both feel "weird", I'm sleepy, and can sleep for hours without it disturbing my sleep at night. These bouts usually last for 1-1/2 to 3 days. The last few months I've been experiencing hot flashes, which were worse but now have gotten less frequent and less severe. I suspect perimenopause, but the hormone test was negative. Blood sugar and thyroid tests done at my recent physical were also
normalNormal saline flush. Only abnormalities are slightly elevated/borderline liver function and rheumatoid arthritis tests. I'm on no meds except occasional
ventolinVentolin hfa for supposed asthma.
