will a oral flecidine test show brugada?? I took a ekg every hr for 3hrs ...would that rule out brugada????

How do get an ekg every hr for 3 hrs? Beside making some typo mistake do you have access to am ekg machine?

In any case the Brugada test is done either with Ajmaline or  flecainide IV injected and under strict medical control cause there is a percentage of cases where bad arrhythmias (even SCD) may occur.

Taking flecainide orally I do not think it has any value and if you take high doses can be dangerous.

An EKG is not always abnormal in all patients so it may be possible to miss the diagnosis. So individuals where there is a high level of suspicion that they may have Brugada such as individuals with close family relatives with Brugada, individuals with syncope (fainting) of unknown cause, or individuals with an equivocal EKG it is possible to bring the EKG abnormalities out by using Flecainide. The mechanism is a sodium channel blocker that is used as a heart rhythm controlling drug (antiarrhythmic). Partially blocking some of the sodium channels with Flecainide has little or no effect on the EKG in patients who have normal cardiac cells but in patients with the Brugada abnormality the EKG becomes obviously abnormal.

I hope this helps and provides an insight into the testing procedure.  Your other EKG tests were to determine if the cardiac cells show an abnormaility with the  subsequent testing. Take care and if you have any further questions or comments you are welcome to respond.

im jus trying to rule out brugada i took that test an the doctor says it was negative so idk if that means i dont have it or i can stil hav it

If the subsequent EKG is negative that can be evidence to rule out brugada. Whether or not move evidence is required to rule out brugada would require a doctor's evaluation. But it appears you do not have brugada by the information you have provided.
