CHF and Decongestants

I was diagnosed with CHF in February 1999. Before being released from the hospital, the pharmacist told me not to take any decongestants. I have since come down with a terrible head cold. My cardiologist told me that I could take Dimetapp because it did not contain psuedoephedrine. Before buying the Dimetapp, I read the label and saw that it did contain psuedoephedrine. I asked the pharmacist if he knew of any decongestants that did not contain it and he told me that they all do. Do you know of any decongestants that do not contain it?
