AND GGPT IS 47
WHAT DOES IT MEANS?
I AM A HEAVY DRINKER.AND HYPOTHYOID ALSO WHICH IS 9.6

Serum glutamic pyruvic transaminase (SGPT), is an enzyme that is normally present in liver and heart cells. SGPT is released into blood when the liver or heart are damaged. Gamma-glutamyl transferase (GGT), sometimes called gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase (GGPT), is an enzyme that is compared with ALP levels to distinguish between skeletal disease and liver disease. When both are high it will distinguish liver damage, not heart damage. Long story short, you're killing your liver with your heavy drinking. Now would be a good time to stop.
