Can a MRI of the breasts affect your heart?

I was comfortable in the MRI machine during the test. The only real distraction other than the noise was the sound of my heart beating in my right plugged ear. It was doing it's usual irregular thing. I ignored it and took my mind off to a pleasant place when I heard the heart rate become very rapid. I was unable to count it was going so fast. My heart actual hurt and I had pain a little left of center. The test was over. I was dizzy and had to sit down. I told them what happened and was told it was caused by the MRI. They put me in a wheelchair and rolled me to the waiting area and kept me there about a half an hour. I just wanted to go home.

I got home and called my cadiologist and was told to go to the ER. I said no. They said call back in an hour. In an hour I was sound asleep and I slept most of the rest of the day, all night, most of the next day, all night, and some the following day.

A week after the test I told my surgeon about what happened. She was concerned and told me to see my cardiologist. I called. It was late Friday PM and got an appt. for Monday AM. His answer was I was anxious. I was not anxious. I've had many MRIs and have my own strategies for dealing with them. The ekg was significantly different from the one two months before. I asked him about my heart hurting and he said the only way the heart can hurt is if it was deprived of oxygen. He said mine wasn't.

I have been dx with A Fib, atrial tachycardia, SVT, PAC, Coronary Artery Disease, Carotid Artery Disease, Peripheral Artery Disease. I know something wasn't right. Now I'm told I need another MRI of the breasts in six months. The heart problem (?) will cause me to work extra hard at my strategy to get me through without being anxious. Did the MRI cause the problem? I just had a spinal MRI the week before and no problem but then I was on my back, not on my stomach.
