Can heart enlargement be reversed?

I have mild/borderline enlargement of certain parts of my heart and am wondering if lowering my Blood Pressure will reduce the size of my heart?

In most cases, resolving the underlying issue will cause the heart to remodel itself back to normal. The only exception I am aware of is in the case of thickened ventricular walls as with hypertrophy, this condition will not resolve. Reducing your BP should help your heart work less hard and allow it to return to it's normal size.

Hope this helps.
