Can lecithin help melt plaque ?
I've had four siblings under the age of 53 die of sudden heart attacks. My lipid stats are pretty good with taking regular niacin but I do have a carotid blockage in the 50-55 %.  I recently read in a health magazine that lecithin can melt plaques and wondered if anyone has taken lecithin with good results. I probably do have heart disease but don't have chest pains and stress tests have all been normal. I appreciate any suggestions for reversing carotid plaque. I took lipitor for several years and it didn't keep the % rate from increasing so I would like to try natural means. Thanks.

Just had HDL levels higher than usual after fish oil and lecithin, with 12 hour fast, for 4 months, with only 10 days of missed medication in between. 2 grams lecithin, 3 grams fish oil each day.
